Arthritis Workshop Update
The Seniors at Gloria J. Parks Community Center would like to sent a big “thank you” to the Masters students at the UB School of Occupational Therapy for giving an Arthritis Workshop. They gave the seniors practical information on how to deal with the pain of arthritis, demonstrated techniques for proper movement, and answered the many questions that our seniors had on such an important and relevant topic!
We hope to have more workshops and informational sessions in the future, and appreciate the time and energy that these Occupational Therapists have devoted to our group of amazing older citizens!
