Can You Hear Me Now? is an open mic coffee house for young people ages 12 to 21. We meet on Tuesdays at Gloria Parks from 7 – 9 p.m. Bring your ideas, your new material, your enthusiasm. This is a casual, supportive event aimed at developing young people’s talent. This program is led by Solomon Dixon and Da’Von McCune. If you are interested in building your skills, we also meet Saturdays Noon to 2 p.m. with Can You Hear Me Now University. Saturdays are dedicated to performance skill classes and learning about using your art form to change your community. Both Tuesdays and Saturdays are free. Refreshments are provided. This program will culminate in the Spring with a public showcase performance, to be announced.
