Parks & Greenspace Survey
At the University District Community Development Association (UDCDA), we believe that safe and accessible parks, greenspaces, and gardens are critical to health of the communities we serve. We’ve heard how important parks and greenspaces are from hundreds of residents. Not only do they beautify our community and connect us with nature, they also allow individuals of all ages and abilities to maintain a more active, healthy lifestyle.
Working with block clubs, community organizations, and the University at Buffalo over the past year, the UDCDA has begun looking at ways to improve existing parks, greenspaces, and gardens in the University District as well as the connections between them. The UDCDA is currently working with UB student Allison Smith who has developed and is currently administering a survey on existing greenspaces in University District to help develop next steps in improving these spaces based on resident insight and expertise. Please be part of the vision for a greener, safer, and healthier University District by taking the survey below.
